How we helped two Psychologists launch a brand-new company on Kajabi - then turned $300 a month in Google Ads into a 30x return.
THE CLIENT
Two psychologists joining forces to launch a brand-new company - delivering in-person training workshops across multiple cities, with an online learning component to match. Two respected practitioners with a clear vision, a new shared brand, and the need for an online platform to host it all.
The starting point
They had the expertise and the demand — but online, they had next to nothing for their new business. Their only web presence was a landing page on one of their existing clinic websites. It wasn’t built to sell workshops, it didn’t represent the new business, and it couldn’t support the online course component they wanted to offer down the track.
They needed a proper home for the new company. One place that could do the selling, the delivering, and the growing — without two busy clinicians & trainers having to stitch together a pile of tools to make it work.
What we built
Rather than jump straight to a platform, we started with research - mapping their real needs (in-person sales, an online course, automated comms) against the options, so the foundation was right the first time. Kajabi came out on top, and we built them a complete system on it:

We didn’t do anything fancy with this website or platform, deliberately, so it was easy to navigate, easy to use from an Admin perspective, and easy to change and update trainings as required.
The growth phase: SEO + Google Ads
The build did its job from the start - sales came in consistently from day one from their waitlist and connections. But after around six months, one gap was obvious: they weren’t showing up in Google when people searched. Brilliant workshops, practically invisible online.
So we went to work on visibility on two fronts:
Optimised the site for SEO, targeting the searches their ideal attendees were actually typing in
Layered in Google Ads with dedicated location landing pages - sending each prospect straight to the workshop in their own city, instead of a generic page
Location-specific pages meant the ads spoke directly to someone searching in their city, which keeps the spend lean and the conversions high.
The results
Fifteen months on, the numbers speak for themselves:
A $300 monthly ad budget returning 30x in May. A jump from page 100 to the top 10 in organic search. And over 600 students through the door in 15 months, with most workshops selling out - all running on one system.
